I am a foster for Pito he is 3 months old and needs medical attention and the animal hospital is low on their funds. He was pretty much abused from the start. His right back leg was broken in several spots and his knee is out of socket. The prev owners got his cast on by the hospital and that was on Labor Day weekend as of 2 weeks ago the prev. owners broght him back 2 weeks ago and his leg was like Jello for not getting the proper care. The animal hospital took him from the owner and is now in foster care through myself and wife SharonLee. His knee is still out of socket, Pito has a long recovery and medical needs. I was wondering if and how I can start something for funds to help Pito for his medical needs.

Try http://www.chipin.com/. It’s a great place to direct people to donate for Pito’s cause. Share through Facebook, twitter and any other means.
Good luck.

Joe-
Your best bet is to google pit/dog rescues in your area. Since we are in San Diego we do not have a lot of contacts out there. You can also try to rehome her with friends or acquaintances. You never know who is looking for a perfect addition to their family.
Good luck!
