Adopt:
We work day in and day out to find the perfect home not only for the dog but for the family. From energetic puppies to calm adults we will find the perfect dog for you. With anywhere from 50-70 dogs in all colors, shapes and sizes we are bound to have the bully of your dreams. To start the adoption process please click here.
Foster:
It’s The Pits covers all costs including food, medical, crate, toys and anything else you may need for your temporary furkid. Being a foster helps ITP save in boarding costs as well as helps the dog adjust to being in a home again. You will give the dog some much needed TLC while we continue to work diligently on finding him/or a forever home. The more foster homes we have the more dogs we can save out of shelters. We have a dog that will fit your lifestyle whether is be calm or active, we will find the right adopt-a-bull for you. To start the foster process please click here.
Donate:
We are always in need of monetary donations to help with boarding, training, feeding and medical costs. If you are not able to donate monetarily we can always use dog beds, dog food, blankets, toys, towels and anything else you may have laying around your house that a furkid could benefit from. If you would like to make a monetary donation please click here. If you would like to make any other kind of donation please email jennifer@itsthepits.org or call us at (858) 484-0985.
Volunteer:
We are always in need of passionate dog handlers to exercise, socialize and show off our adopt-a-bulls. No previous training or experience necessary. Volunteer opportunities available all over San Diego County. Would you like to hang out with a lov-a-bull for a few hours at an adoption event or take them on a hike? Start the process here. *Must be 18 years or older.
I would love to help volunteer my time. To either help at events or give some attention or walks to some pitties.
